We had fun playing girly hair the other morning and I took some pic of the super easy little bun I have been doing in Emmy's hair. I got the idea from the Hair for the Mini Diva blog, her little girl has hair similar to Emmys and so it is a good site for us to get ideas from! Here is the link.

Easter Pictures
First I had to take some pics of Emmy's Easter "Up-do", I was so happy with how this came out and everyone commented her on her hair at church. I am so happy to be blessed with little girls that I can play dress up and hair with!!! I had been looking at a lot of "hair blogs" for some inspiration on what to do with her hair and this is really a combination of a few. I did a messy bun in the back, some cute little twists on the sides, and left the front which is bangs and some extra hair out to frame her face. Here she is:
I tried to get some cute pics of all the kids together after church but "princess" Emmy would not hear of it and threw a fit, so here are some of James, Ethan, and Mollie which didn't come out great=:(

After only a couple of shots Mollie was done too! It didn't help that the boys were putting things on her head and begging me to take a pic!
I like this one of Pat and Uncle Zack doing up their ties.
Auntie Sarah and Uncle Zacky... they are so cute!
Here is Emmy later on at home after she had something to eat acting as cute as a button and willing to pose and dance for the camera!
PS - Please don't look to close at the messy under construction kitchen!

Homeschool Sledding......again!
Nana and Bumpa (Pat's parents Sherri and Bill) very graciously let the homeschoolers come and invade the place for another awesome day of sledding. It was a beautiful day in the 40's and 50's and lots of sun! This time it was a little on the warm side for running snow machines so we didn't have the escort service up and down the sledding hill, but we did get a few rides in!
Emmy and Beckah thought it would be fun to add some color to the snowman Nana built with some of the kids.
Dominic and Emmy making the snowman pretty!!

Valentine Fun at the Kelley's
Valentine Math
The best math is the math you can eat: Necco conversation hearts!
I saw this recipe in a new magazine called All You, I really enjoyed the articles, recipes and crafts inside and as a bonus it has tons of coupons ($33 dollars worth I think!). Here is a link to the magazine web site and the recipe for the cupcakes:
We made these yummy cupcakes with cream cheese frosting for our annual Homeschool Family Sledding Day that just happened to fall on Valentines this year.
Inspired by the Everitt girls super cute hair, we just had to get in on the fun! Here are Emmy's "wipmy hearts" as they call them on this web site where we found the directions for little girls who have fine or thin hair.
Valentine Sledding
Here are a couple pics (only a couple because our camera battery died), the first one is a good view of the hill we sled on at Bill and Sherri's (Pat's Mom and Dad or Nana and Bumpa as the kids call them). The second one is of Pat and Dan doing something to the snowmachine which we use to transport all the sleds and kids back up the hill for maximum sledding fun!
