On the Binsack Trail at Remick Farm

We visited the Remick Farm on Wednesday and decided to check out the Binsack Trail which runs along the pastures in back of the farm house. I found this neat trail guide here if you are interested in checking it out. It was such a beautiful day and we had a nice time stopping to visit all the animals on the way!

Here are the kids posing with the horses who were all huddled together in just the right spot for a pic!

We then stopped to visit Diamond and Dash the huge steers in one of the pastures along the trail. I'm not sure which one this is but Ethan thought it would be a good idea to call him over by waving a clump of nice tasty hay around!!! I thought for a moment he might stroll on through the fence the way he was looking at Ethan! Thankfully the fence was electric and he knew to stay put!

A group photo with Diamond and Dash.

Just the boys!
The kids (Emmy especially) loved this little kitty who followed us around!
It was very friendly and even let Emmy pic him up for this pic!

Emmy and Mollie are looking for the steers, you can't see them in this pic but there are two pairs of them in this pen.

One of the employees was very kind to offer to take this pic for us! I think it may be one of the only one's we have with just me and the kids!!

A rest by the pond.

The last stop was a chat with the chickens!

I love the Remick Farm and sooooooooooo want to go to their Historic Thanksgiving workshop next weekend! Check it out here.
